There are
several ways you can get involved with your local water quality:
Develop
a Water Quality Protection Plan for Your Property
Check out our Watershed Working Groups page
to find out who your local watershed coordinator is. They can provide
you with information on local technical specialists, potential cost share
funding for conservation practices, and other people in your watershed
that are working to protect water quality.
Attend
a Workshop
There are a number of local workshops and events for farmers and ranchers
as well as the public. Visit our Workshops Calendar
to see what is happening in your area and to find continuing education credit opportunities.
Volunteer
If you are interested in getting involved in AWQA, there are many organizations
and agencies that you can contact to find out about volunteer or internship
opportunities. Visit our Web Links page to find
out more.
